I make books. A lot of books. I love making them, and I love the feeling the client gets when they see these things.
Most of the books I make are kept private, but a few are public and out there for others to see. However, many of the private books are compilations of images that I really like, so I thought I would share a few of the covers.
All of these books were done in the last month or so, a few of the nearly eighty books I have made to this point.

hi Daniel, interested from professional like you regarding print and paper quality coming from Blurb. I'm in the beginning of making a photobook and have been searching around but not sure which POD printer would be the good choice. TIA

When I got your message I was in the middle of another Blurb book, making another one that is. I've made a lot of books with Blurb, and have been very happy with the results. You have options for paper, the standard issue, and a fine-art option, which is a little heavier and uncoated. I used both, depending on the look of the images, and also what the client is looking for. I've been very happy with the results. You should prep your images as well as you can, make sure you are working with calibrated monitor, etc. And, you can download an ICC profile, from Blurb, if you are part of their B3 program,if you wish to get more involved in the calibration process.
I think the success of the book has to do with printing, but more important, the images and edit are key. And, having fun!
thank you Daniel, one more question, before you settle with Blurb, did you explore others like Sharedink, My Publisher etc. ? Though I have to experience by myself but I like to hear what others' experiences because I live in another part of world, Indonesia, it would be taking ages to wait and see the 1st dummy when most of POD are in States.

Actually, I have used many, many different publishers, but Blurb works the best for me. Price, quality, speed, software(which I use but also PS and other design programs), as well as the built in bookstore, which is a major key for me.
